The sort of stuff that fills up most of my time.
In 2021, I co-authored a textbook Data Science for Public Policy that was published by Springer Nature. It was motivated by and drew from my experience in teaching a data science course at Georgetown University in the graduate public policy school.
Since 2022, I’ve been pursuing a part-time doctorate in computational statistics and machine learning at the University of Oxford. As part of the Wilson Group at the Oxford Big Data Institute, my research focuses on fast approximations for inference in large, high-dimensional data sets.
